What's up guys, this is BB,
I’m a founding member and guitarist of the metal band Crisix, from Barcelona.
This band has been my school in all levels,
Why?
Because we started from 0.
In a country where Spanish metal music
was ‘‘impossible’’ to be successful on a international level,
our music history was clear:
we never had a Spanish international metal artist singing in English.
That was challenging, but we proved we came to change
the perception of the international market.
But before this was about to happen,
there was one very important thing I had to master first:

If you listen any of our 6 studio albums you will listen to
riffs played downpicking at 220 BPMs
and then you will think thatI was born playing fast.
But the truth is that I started playing sloppy like any of my students when they come to me.
My real struggle was installing what I call the Inner Tempo Software.
Because of this I played with not enough groove to record on studio or play massive riffs during live shows or rehearsals.
And absolutely it was the game-changer for me to then develope a strong and tight right-hand picking.
Once this was done, our story was made.
Released albums worldwide, toured 5 continents and played the biggest stages and festivals like Hellfest in front of 50.000 people.
And I played without nerves,
happy,
enjoying the moment,
with confidence.
This was my highlight as a tight guitarist.
